At the Hub of It All
Hubbard is a small farming community located near Highway 65 and 175. Founded in 1881 when Chicago and Northwestern decided to run their line through Tipton township. Hubbard offers small town living with big city access.
The Hubbard Public Library was completed in 2011 and provides an environment for all ages. dedicated in 1935. The park features updated park equipment, open shelters, and a shelter house.
Annual community events include Easter Egg Hunt, Avenue of Flags on Memorial Day, Hubbard Days, Oktoberfest, Chamber of Commerce Christmas Open Houses and Santa Claus.
Hubbard has many clubs and organizations for all ages. They include: Chamber of Commerce, American Legion Post #4, American Legion Auxiliary, Helping Hands, Sisters in Service, 4-H Clubs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Volunteer Fire Department and Volunteer Ambulance Department.
Ambulance Service
The Hubbard Ambulance Department is a group of trained volunteers dedicated to providing emergency medical services to Hubbard and surrounding rural communities.
Fire Department
The Hubbard Fire Department is a group of trained volunteers dedicated to providing fire and rescue services to Hubbard and surrounding rural communities.
