At the Hub of It All

Hubbard is a charming farming community situated near Highways 65 and 175. Established in 1881 when the Chicago and Northwestern Railway extended its line through Tipton Township, Hubbard combines the warmth of small-town living with convenient access to larger cities.

The Hubbard Public Library, completed in 2011, offers a welcoming space for residents of all ages. The town park, dedicated in 1935, features updated play equipment, open shelters, and a fully equipped shelter house.

Hubbard hosts various annual community events, including an Easter Egg Hunt, Avenue of Flags on Memorial Day, Hubbard Days, Oktoberfest, and the Chamber of Commerce Christmas Open Houses, complete with a visit from Santa Claus.

The community is home to a variety of clubs and organizations catering to all age groups. These include the Chamber of Commerce, American Legion Post #4, American Legion Auxiliary, Helping Hands, Sisters in Service, 4-H Clubs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, as well as the Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Departments.

Ambulance Service

The Hubbard Ambulance Department is a group of trained volunteers dedicated to providing emergency medical services to Hubbard and surrounding rural communities.

Interested in volunteering? Volunteers give Hubbard the ability to keep our ambulance service local. You must be at least 18 years old and dependable, pass a background check, and be in general good health. You must also be willing to take and EMT certification course when available and maintain certification once obtained.

Fire Department

The Hubbard Fire Department is a group of trained volunteers dedicated to providing fire and rescue services to Hubbard and surrounding rural communities.
