At the Hub of It All

Hubbard is a small farming community located near Highway 65 and 175. Founded in 1881 when Chicago and Northwestern decided to run their line through Tipton township. Hubbard offers small town living with big city access.

The Hubbard Public Library was completed in 2011 and provides an environment for all ages. dedicated in 1935. The park features updated park equipment, open shelters, and a shelter house.

The Hubbard Swimming Pool was built in 1958. The current pool can no longer open. Through dedicated community leaders, funds are being raised by fundraisers, grants, and bonds to construct a new pool. Construction potentially to begin Fall 2022!

Annual community events include Easter Egg Hunt, Avenue of Flags on Memorial Day, Hubbard Days, Oktoberfest, Chamber of Commerce Christmas Open Houses and Santa Claus.

Hubbard has many clubs and organizations for all ages. They include: Chamber of Commerce, American Legion Post #4, American Legion Auxiliary, Helping Hands, Sisters in Service, 4-H Clubs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Volunteer Fire Department and Volunteer Ambulance Department.

June 10-12, 2022

The annual Hubbard Days Celebration is June 10-12. Join in the fun starting Friday with a golf tournament, parade on Saturday followed by many activities at the city park and on Maple Street. NEW this year Tractor Pulls!

Hubbard Swimming Pool

The pool has been shut down since 2020 due to the pandemic, then in 2021 after an inspection the pool was determined to be in poor condition and recommended not to operate in its current state. Community members formed a committee and have currently raised $628,000 of the $1,000,000 goal.

Ambulance Service

The Hubbard Ambulance Department is a group of trained volunteers dedicated to providing emergency medical services to Hubbard and surrounding rural community.
